Our Story
Well, we owe our introduction to the Braveheart Pub. We have known each other our entire lives. We went to the infamous Alma Public Schools together, but unfortunately we never got to know each other until we met at the pub back in early 2005. We hit it off, but both of us were playing hard to get, until Cinco De Mayo, when we made our relationship official. Ever since, we have been like peas in a pod. Our engagement: I knew that I had to suprise her. If I took her out to a fancy dinner, all dressed up, or went on a vacation somewhere, that it would have been a dead giveaway. So one Friday afternoon, Nikki asked me to go Wal-Mart with her after work, and of course I said, "No thanks, the Tigers are on." So during her course of getting off work, going to the store and coming home, I probably called her a dozen times to find out where she was at. And wore a line in the floor from pacing so much. So when she finally pulled into the driveway, I hollered out the door to leave the groceries and come on in. She was a bit baffled, but agreed. As she walked through the door, there I was, down on one knee. After I proposed, I asked, "Well" And she responded, "Yes, but what did you say?" She was quite suprised to say the least. And thats our story.
